Joining spring hockey is a dabble into the travel hockey realm as practices are at Cleland and games are in Raleigh. It is not a learn to play program. So, the assumption is that a player has good-to-strong base skills and a working knowledge of the game. A slot can be held by making a deposit of $125, payable to CFYHA and mailed to the P. O. Box. We are in the planning stages for our next set of sessions. We also are hosting a Try Hockey Free event on February 18, which you can register for at TryHockeyForFree.com. Beyond these two items, the Fort Bragg House program is a great place to learn the game. Their next season will begin in September. However, the rink (Cleland Ice Rink) does have open skate, stick times and a good learn to skate program throughout the year.
