After a second year of unprecedented growth, CFYHA is proud to offer the following teams for the 2012-2013 Winter season.

Tryouts are tentatively scheduled for the mid part of August. As more details are finalized, they will be posted.

**Sunday – May 6th
10:45am-12:15am >>10 years old and under
12:30pm-2:00pm >> 11-17 years old

**Saturday – May 12th
9:45am-11:15am >>10 years old and under
11:30am-1:00pm >>11-17 years old

COST: $7.00 per skater – per session.

First Weekend recap.

Well, the Spring season started off on an upswing for Cape Fear. The Mites played a fantastic cross-ice game and really showed their strength as a team for the first game. For the Squirts, it was a battle until the end with a hard fought 8-6 win. Next, the Peewees made a fantastic opening, played well as a team, but saw a dissapointing loss with a final score of 8-4. Wrapping up the day, were the Bantams with an 11-0 win! Overall Cape Fear showed it’s strength and commitment with great teamwork and great parental support. Thank you all for a fantastic first Spring League weekend!

Peewee Red Shamrock Classic Finalist!

Three days, five games that includes three wins and a hard loss; Peewee Red returns to Cleland with a banner to hang high and a second place finish to top off a trying season.

Be ready for some fun on the ice tonight! The Spring ADM session begins tonight, on -ice at 6:15. Please make sure you arrive early enough to dress your player and to have them on the ice at 6:15 sharp! If you are still needing to register or pay, a CFYHA representative will be available from 5:30-5:45 at the rink. Some equipment will be avaiable for pick-up as well. See you at the rink!

General Membership Meeting tonight!!

This is an important night for CFYHA. We will be holding our final general membership meeting of the season. Tonight, the board positions of President and Secretary are open for nominations and voting. In addition, there are several by-law changes that we will be reviewing and placing up for a vote. If there was ever a time to attend, this is it. The meeting will begin at 6:30pm at Sports USA. See you there!
